Founded in 1987 by Markus Kecht Make Communications & Consulting specialises in advisory and consulting services in general sports, sports politics and sports business. It was renamed Mountain 8 Communications and Consulting in 2008.
Mountain 8 has worked on 10 Olympic bids, a number of Football/Soccer World Cup bids as well as advisingInternational Sports Federations, National Olympic Committees, Sports Ministries and global brands from the world of sports in Strategy, Intelligence, Communications and International Relations.
Mountain 8 offers its clientele more than three decades of experience.
Mountain 8 doesn’t actively promote its services, believing that it`s better to work off recommendations and face to face meetings .
This approach has worked well for more than three decades and follows Mountain 8’s motto which is:
"It´s not about us - it´s about our clients".
– The Mountain 8 team have attended several hundred sporting events over the past three decades, including all Olympic Games since 2000, all editions of SportAccord since its start, General Assemblies of all Major Sports Organisations, World Championships in most Olympic sports and general sports business gatherings.
Mountain 8’s founder Markus Kecht has been a guest speaker at a number of gatherings including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
